Cllr Gibbons visited the park last week to check on progress. The painting of the equipment is now complete and looks much better!
Just the resurfacing works now to be done which Cllr Gibbons chased with Doncaster Council officers last week.
He also chatted to some grandparents who were using the park with their grandchildren and were pleased with the recent play equipment additions for the younger ones.
A bucket seat swing should now be in situ so that younger ones can also have a swing. This was requested by Cllr Gibbons some time ago and chased up again last week.
Coincidentally, the day after the visit the new goal posts were pulled down and glass smashed on the park and entrance path. This was reported to Cllr Gibbons and the CDC Street Scene team were promptly on site to deal with matters.
