We at Mexborough First had a very positive meeting with St Leger Homes today on old Windhill Avenue site.
St Leger Homes caretaking team are going to clear the latest fly-tipping and build up of litter and also cut-back the overgrown bushes and trees encroaching on nearby properties.
Longer term plan is for Mexborough First councillors to work with DMBC officers and St Leger Homes officers on a vision to build affordable housing on site in partnership with a local developer. We will keep you posted on our progress.
