Mexborough Canal Clean-up event in association with Canal & River Trust and Mexborough First (plus public volunteers) was recently held on Sat the 22nd of November.
It was a fantastic turnout of volunteers supporting our Mexborough Canal clean-up and a huge thanks to the 20+ people who helped to pick up over 50 bags of rubbish/litter + cut-back several over-hanging trees.
Without the kind help of the public this wouldn’t have been possible.
We have another event planned for February 2015 but more details will be given closer to the time.
