Was an absolute pleasure for our three Mexborough First Councillors to meet with local young people at the Mexborough Youth Surgery located within Mexborough Youth Club earlier this evening.
Have to say it was the most enjoyable meeting of our day…and the most productive one we have had over the last few weeks! Lots of great ideas put forward and a number of community issues requiring our joined-up attention.
Cllr Pickering last attended a Youth Surgery in Nov 2014 (alone) and the now three Mexborough First Councillors are committed to working with local young people. Which is why we already have our next quarterly meeting at the Mex Youth Surgery in the diary.
In addition, Cllr Chapman will meet at Mex Youth Club on the first Monday of every month to update the young people on issues they have raised and include them in future activities/events planned in the town.
