It was party time in Victoria Park for local youths last night with broken glass bottles, beer cans and litter thrown across the play area as you can see from the attached photo.
A member of the Mexborough First team has been out this morning and picked up all the litter and broken glass leaving the play area safe for younger ones to enjoy.
Thankfully, there was no further damage to the fragile safety play surface and it won’t be long before CCTV camera are finally installed on Victoria Park to deter further vandalism and anti-social behaviour.
