Another very busy day for the Mexborough First out on the streets of Mexborough talking to residents about their concerns and addressing local issues.
Here’s one example on one Mexborough Street – one of our team observed a recycling box which had blown recyclable items all over the street. Our Mexborough First team member spent 10 minutes picking up all the cans, plastic bottles etc and put at the side of the road firmly away from the blustery wind.
Our Mexborough First candidates will, if elected on Thursday, campaign for better, more robust recycling bins to deal with the increasing amount of recycling created by family households and not small inadequate recycling boxes with flimsy lids. Mexborough (and other communities across the borough) deserve far batter recycling provision.
