Cllr Gibbons has received some complaints from concerned parents of children who attend St John’s School re the ongoing roadworks at the top of Sedgefield Way/Adwick Road junction which have been going on for some time.
An email was promptly sent to the Head of Service at Doncaster Council Highways who has asked his team to inspect the area as a priority and make the pedestrian access area much safer.
Some barriers have been removed allowing safer access on route to school.
Currently awaiting confirmation of the duration of the works and asked for them to be completed as a priority.
