Windhill site in Mexborough fly-tipping cleared thanks DMBC.
Mexborough First Cllrs have been working hard behind the scenes with senior officers from DMBC and St Leger Homes to deal with the ongoing fly-tipping issues on this large site plus nuisance motorcycles and other ASB.
Cllrs Pickering and Gibbons met with Paul Tanney, new CEO of St Leger Homes on 14th Feb and discussed/agreed a joint commitment to clean-up the site, closely monitor, install CCTV cameras, look to block-off road access for would-be fly-tippers and also move towards a longer term strategy to sell off the land to a prospective developer in the future.
